Kursa 2021
This year Kursa celebrates its 50th anniversary! Kursa summer school will take place from July 7th to August 3rd. After two intense Latvian Song Festival summers, we return to a four-week program. Of course, if your student cannot participate for four weeks, we also invite them to come for a couple of weeks!
For those attending the Latvian Song and Dance Festival in Canada, there is an opportunity to fly from Toronto to Seattle on Monday, July 8th, along with a chaperone from Kursa Summer School. Please write to kursa@kursa.org if you would like more information.
We will be celebrating Kursa 50 from July 26th to 28th. We welcome you to join us, to "Be a Kursietis!" for the weekend! More information about the program will be available in February, when we also kick off "Kursa 50" in Seattle on February 3rd and 4th (details below).
Registration for Kursa will open in February! This year again, participants can apply with a partial participation fee deposit. We encourage everyone to apply as soon as possible so that in planning the summer, we know how many students to expect!
